Fair wrap up...
The Fair is over, and most had a great time there. We saw some interest from the public about our troop, and the pack.
Lots of folks commented on the Monkey bridge, and wanted to give it a try. We found that raising the the main line of the bridge in the daytime, while we were present to supervise its use, made us feel much safer, and took much less energy than completely dropping the bridge.
Overall, less cooking was done this year than last, but our Scouts were better prepared, and managed to clean up after meals better than last year.
All in all, a good presence for the Scouts, and fairly good interaction with the public.
(seriously, photos coming soon!)

SJC Fair, Day #2
Will try to get some pics in here today. We raised the monkey bridge yesterday, and re-tightened it at least 5 times before it was too dark to walk anymore. It will be lowered this morning, and raised again this afternoon. We will be building a knot station today, if we can pull enough rope together! I may have to go buy some more before I head back over to the fairgrounds (I am at work now.)
Hope to see you there!!

The San Juan County Faire is here!!
And so is Troop 4090!! Come on by the Scout House at the Northwest corner of the Fairgrounds, and see what we are up to! A monkey bridge will be raised, dinner cooked, a knot station is to be built, and any questions answered!
We'll have a fire going later on this evening, so feel free to drop by and see us!
